Which alliance/guilds?...
Hello GW community!
1st off it feels good to be back. I quit GW my freshman year of college to focus on school. The summer after a friend talked me into WoW. I quit due to the monthly charge and have come back to GW. Its been 2 years or so since, so i have a lot of catching up to do. But i played this game for over a year back in the day ! My question is, which alliance or guilds own Cavalon right now? I remember the one thing i loved, loved, about this game was the community. couldnt find that in WoW. I was on vent everyday in GW, we did pvp and fff. I miss it a lot. Please help me out. Thanks, Brian |

well it changes daily( or hourly if u really look) but i dont think you'll want to join that kind of guild unless u want to be farming the same thing 24/7.
i would suggest, since your comming back, to go to a newer guild that might have newer ppl in there that will be of the same quality. That or join the mamoth guild KISS and get help almost 24/7 ^_^. im jsut saying you wouldnt, comming back to GW, to hop immdeiatley into the leet sauce guilds. Id slow it down w/ a noob guild, learn the meta builds, THEN move onto bigger and better things. Remember: good things come to those who wait. |

The problem with mega guilds is that there are too many members. The vast majority of which you will never hear from because they are off doing their own thing. KISS, I was a member recently. It didn't work for me. Officers are shifted around from guild to guild so you really don't get a feel for who is in charge. As for getting to know other members and hopefully getting your own core group of friends to play with, good luck there. Just too many people, you might as well pug. But you never know, KISS might work for some. At least they don't make you go through an interview process or have age limits like LaZy did. Find a non mega guild and ride with them for a bit, leaving when you feel the need. Look for what feels right for you.

Well I agree with masterjer1. Mega guilds like LaZy are just to unpersonal, imo you'll get a better experience with smaller guilds where you actually makes friends. People you will remember after the left the game and still chat with them now and then

You can check out guilds in our Guild Connections section or post your own thread explaining what you want in a guild. Or, if you want a faction-farming, town owning guild, just go to Jade Quarry or Temple of Balthazar or Kaineng Center where they recruit. They will say what town their alliance owns.

[KISS] is fine for those who like chat and vent. Not the best players, but they have some fun easy going people. The have events, but not the kind where you play together.
I joined a guild called [SNOW], which is nice for speed clears and pre-planned events that are open to builds and professions. They lacked of communication with members and great inconstancy with how officers handle things. Basically guilds are pretty diverse and all have their pros and cons (especially with activities, activity, strictness, and maturity). Last edited by Cuilan; Feb 15, 2010 at 10:02 PM // 22:02.. |
